The University of Texas at Austin

Uplift Texas began under the name Uplift Austin as it was founded by students studying at The University of Texas at Austin. These students recognized the importance of community involvement and social responsibility. They created a platform for students to make a positive impact in their community while feeling welcomed. Being a fully volunteer based organization, they established a social organization at UT Austin which would cultivate a comfortable environment including social gatherings, intramural sports, academic assistance, community giving and more. This allowed many student organizations to collaborate with Uplift Austin and increase the community impact within the city of Austin.
